There are so many ways to express how incredibly good garlic is for your gut, and in this case lets not forget to mention how sweet it is too. Add a few cloves to any dish for an extra immunity boost that is bursting with flavor!

  • Yields: 2 Servings


6-8 cloves Garlic

1/2 tbsp. of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)

A pinch of Sea Salt, Lemon Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, and Basil


1Preheat your Oven to 400 degrees.

2Leave the cloves intact with their paper skin, in a glass bowl toss in your cloves, 1/2 tbsp. of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and sprinkle with a pinch of each of your spices. Stir a few times to coat cloves with your Oil and spice blend.

3Roast your Garlic in a foil packet for approx. 30-40 mins or until soft. (Keeping your packet sealed, about half way through cooking, turn your Garlic packet over for even roasting)

4Note: Once soft, you can continue roasting your Garlic until deeply golden for a more caramelized flavor! Exact roasting time will depend on the size, age, and variety or your Garlic. Check the Garlic every 10 minutes. Roasted Garlic can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks or frozen for up to 3 months.

5Allow the Garlic to cool slightly, press on the bottom of the cloves to push them out of their paper skins and serve. Enjoy!
