Finally!!! A thick and juicy Portabella Burger that will make your mouth water, with so many delicious flavors to tickle your taste buds you won’t even miss the meat!

  • Yields: 8 Servings



1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar

2 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar

2 medium Garlic Cloves, finely chopped

1 teaspoon Sea Salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper

1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

8 Portabello Mushrooms, stems removed


Whole Grain Burger Buns

Vegan Cheese

Romaine Lettuce

Purple Onion




1Place the Vinegar’s, finely chopped Garlic, Measured Sea Salt, and Measured Pepper in a medium sized bowl. While whisking continuously, add the oil in a slow, steady stream until evenly incorporated.

Place the Mushrooms cap-side down in a single layer on a baking sheet and coat them with the marinade. Turn several times to coat, and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Then grill on high for 4-5 min.

3NOTE: If using an Oven, preheat to 375 degrees and cook for approx. 20-25 mins or until tender. About half way through cooking, use a Silicone Basting Brush to lather on a little more marinade. • • •

4BURGER BUILD: Burger Bun (Bottom) + Lettuce + Mushroom + Cheese + Onion + Tomato + Lettuce + Burger Bun (Top)

5OPTIONAL: Replace the bun with Romaine Lettuce Leaves for a Light and Fit meal.
